.. | Above right is a detail of a large image (162KB) of this huipil from San Lucas Tolimán. This huipil is the traditional style for San Lucas, variations appear below. This huipil is similar in the red and white coloring and design of the embroidered figures of the old style huipil from neighboring Santa Catarina Palopó. Red and white striped huipiles are still worn in San Antonio Palopo but over time the color and design differences have grown between between the three towns. |
